JH Leisure Consultants, listed with The North East England Service Provider Register, specialises in business advice to hotels, pubs and restaurants. Director Nigel Hammond has managed hotels and worked in International Hotel companies at multi-unit level, with responsibility for £30m + turnover.
In 2008 and 2009 Nigel has supported more than 70 business owners, working as a business coach accredited through The Best Practice Forum, and with Winning Pitcg plc, who manage The High Growth Programme in the North West and as a personal coach to managers and executives.
In 2007, Nigel Hammond worked with a Leeds Metropolitan University led initiative, helping pubs throughout North Yorkshire identify tourism related opportunities to improve business performance.
Nigel has also chaired the panel responsible for the 2008 Northern Hospitality Awards "Best Pub" organised by Moorfield Media. He is a Fellow of The BII (FBII), a Member of The Institute of Hospitality (MIH) and an affiliate of The Institute of Business Consultants.

The formation of JH Leisure in 2001 represented an opportunity for Nigel to work with clients in short, stimulating and cost - effective “bursts”. Since then Nigel has worked as a sub-contractor supplying specialist input for banks and othe financial institutions.
He has been part of teams engaged in developing food and beverage concepts and rolling out a unique concept of hotel into a well known brand. JH Leisure runs workshops and training and developing courses for people in the hospitality industry throughout The North of England.
JH Leisure is featured with Business Link North West and operates throughout the North of England and The Borders.
